Whenever you purchase a product on the internet you do so by clicking on a link. This link belongs to one of the following:
1. The Product Owner (who earns a profit on the sale minus his expenses), or
2. An Affiliate who is promoting the product (who is like the retailer from whom you purchase in the real world and who earns a margin on the sale price)
In both the cases you pay the same price and get the product delivered to you. The delivery of the product can happen in one of two ways:
1. Online (where you are given a link to download the product), or
2. Physical shipment (in which case the product is physically sent to your shipping address).
In majority of these cases you neither get a discount nor do you earn any Reward points (for your continued patronage) which can be redeemed for other products that you might require in future.

By way of an example, suppose for a particular product the Standard Reward Credit is 30%. Then the actual Reward Credit for you for having registered and participated in the creation and launch of the My Purchase Rewards program would be 45% (50% more than the standard Reward Credit.
These benefits will be available to Pre launch members for life.
AND FINALLY, FOR ALL PURCHASES THAT YOU MAKE BEFORE THE LAUNCH DATE OF JUNE 29, 2009, THE REWARD CREDIT GIVEN TO YOU WILL BE TWICE THE STANDARD REWARD CREDIT!
So, if the Reward Credit for a product is 20%, you will be given a Reward Credit of 40% if you buy the product before June 29, 2009.
60% Reward Credit will be given for a product on which standard Reward Credit is 30% for a similar purchase before June 29, 2009.
And so on…
